Ten students from Kurdistan will be able to study for a Masters Degree in National Security in Washington, the US capital

On 12 Jul 2018, A So0ran University delegation comprising of Dr Nahro Zagros, Vice President at Soran University and Paul Davis, a Senior Research Fellow at Soran University were invited for a formal meeting concerning an academic relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government, Soran University and the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security to discuss the study of National Security, the center of which is located in Washington D.C the US capital.

During the meeting between Soran university and the Daniel Morgan School, represented by Dr Michael Sharnoff Director of Strategic Programs and a Middle East National Security Professional and Mr DyQuan Washington, Director-assistant for Candidates, it was agreed to set a road map for an academic relationship in the field of research amongst students and staffs from both institutions. Also during the meeting, the Daniel Morgan delegation agreed to provide ten scholarships for Kurdistan Regional Government students to study for their Masters degree in the spring semester of 2019, for which students will be carefully selected from those who hold a satisfactory level of English language and have satisfactorily completed the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) test. The application process for candidates for the Daniel Morgan Graduate School will be announced shortly.
