On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Administration at Soran University (SU), in cooperation with the Colleges of Education and Engineering at Samaraa University, and the French International center for Scientists and Inventors- Iraqi branch, is organizing the International (Edson) competition for the best patent.

The Department of Law in the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Administration- Soran University, is organizing an international scientific conference in cooperation with the Department of Law and Politics in Nawroz University. The conference which is entitled "Emerging Legal Issues", will be held on March 8 and 9, 2023, at Soran University. The conference will be sponsored by AL- Thiqa Organization for Micro and Small Business Loans.

 On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, the Media Directorate of Soran University will hold the forum entitled:( The Official Media in the Era of Plurality of Informal Media) on Media issues. The forum will be held under the auspices of Soran University’s President AP.Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas.

With the purpose of highlighting the advancement of education and teaching experience  in the time of Coronavirus, Soran University as supporting partner, will participate in an international conference entitled “Developing Education and Learning Experience in post-Covid time”, which is organized by several local and international universities and institutions as well as the Ministry of Education.
