It is a few weeks ago that two instructors from the CLAD Centre in Soran University declared a campaign to give support for the Internally Displaced People (IDP) of the area.
After the publication of an article by three professors from Soran University (Dr. Howri Mansurbeg, Dr. Nehro Zagros and Dr. Tylor Fisher) in 'The Conversation' magazine on the independence of Kurdistan and the energy security, the aforementioned magazine made it its headline.
Recently, topics like oil contracts and the exportation of oil by the KRG(Kurdistan Regional Government) have been key issues between the KRG and the central government of Iraq and have stayed still (without any solution). To discuss various perspectives on this crisis, we have managed an interview with Mr. Himdad Faysal, an expert professor in oil and gas law.
On 7/72014, at the College of law of South Illinois University in the USA, UN-US organization arranged a seminar for (Mr. Nasir Ahmed Yahya), who is a professor at Soran University and a PhD student in the USA. The seminar was about Iraqi situation and the independence of Kurdistan.
"Esmail Beshikchi" the famous Turkish sociologist in an interview with Soran universities website says "Kurdish people should ask for something that till now they didn’t have it, which is independency", he mentioned that Kurdish people are the biggest nation on the earth, and till now they are without independent government.
