Dr Farangis Ghaderi, Director of Soran University’s recently-founded Kurdistan Centre for Gender Studies, has recently attended two international conferences.

Her recent research paper was accepted for presentation at the Migration Studies conference on 26-28 June 2015 in Prague, which was about gender and Kurdish nationalism. She is currently working on the paper for publication in the next academic year.
Ms Ghaderi also attended the International Conference: Gender Relations and Rising Inequalities at the University of East Anglia, UK, on 6-8 July 2015, which was organized by the School of International Development. The conference was attended by internationally renowned gender specialists.
