Workshop concerning children’s dental health

A work shop was held on Monday 23^rd December 2019 attended by Dr Muslih Mustafa, President of Soran University, students and teachers. This workshop was one of several held and was specifically about the health of children’s teeth and the importance of protecting them. The workshop was led by Dr. Takish Dlawar Kakazyad who is a specialist dental physician professor consultation and now is a member of the American Board forchildren’s teeth in Qatar.

Next year two students from Soran University will study at Grenoble University in France as part of a student exchange programme

After an agreement between Soran University and the Political Science Institute of Grenoble agreed on the 8th September 2019, part of the Grenoble University in France. The agreement has been signed and the terms of the agreement will be applied next year.

Soran University and the Grenoble Institute of Political Science signed an academic agreement

A significant agreement was signed on Sunday 8^th December 2019, between Soran University and the Grenoble Scientific Institute in the presence of Soran University Council members, Oliver Decottignies the, General Consul of France for the Kurdistan Region, and Prof. Jean Marcou, Head of international relations at the Grenoble Scientific Institute.

A summit entitled Kurdistan amongst the conflict in Iraq and the area was held

On the 8th December 2019 a summit entitled ‘Kurdistan amongst the conflict of Iraq and the area’ was held in the presence of Dr. Muslih, President of Soran University, Representative of the Kurdistan Region President, parliamentary members, government and political party representatives, students, teachers and journalists from Soran University.

Soran University and the French Institute for Research on the Middle East Agreed to Partnership, Collaboration and an Academic Relationship

On Friday the 15th November 2019, a delegation from Soran University led by his Excellency Dr Muslih Mustafa, President of Soran University, accompanied by Dr Nahro Zagros, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Dr. Adel Bakhawan, Head of the Iraqi Sociology Center in Soran University, visited the French Institute for Research on the Middle East (EREMO), and was welcomed by Prof Jan Poal Shanelow, President of the Institute, and An Milet Head of International Relations at the Institute.
