Dumlupinar University in Kütahya Turkey, invited Soran University, with Dr. Hemn Omer representing the Presidency of Soran University, to participate in the conference for the preparation for a Universities’ Union of twenty six countries on the 27th and 28th February 2019.

 A delegation from Kurdistan University in Sna city headed by Fardeen Akhlaqyan, President of Kurdistan University visited Soran University and was welcomed by Dr Muslih Mustafa, President of Soran University and his staff; several subjects were discussed in a positive environment.

The First Symposium on Cancer Research and Database Development in Kurdistan

A special two days conference entitled ‘The First Symposium on Cancer Research & Database Development in Kurdistan’ was held on Monday the 4th February 2019, the International Day for the Fight Against Cancer, by the Faculty of Science in partnership with the Scientific Research Center at Soran University.

Soran University’s Development Center staff, with the Design Day group winners Muhammed Shkak and Agry Haider Nader, with their supervisor Milad Ashqy, participated in the International Business Marketing conference in Baghdad on the 12th and 13th December 2018, arranged by the American Consulate in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and organizations from the private sector as well as universities.
