With the participation of Mr. Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Soran University on Saturday, October 8, 2022, ran the Forum on the Kurdish Question in the Middle East.
The Forum was held in coordination with the French University of Sciences Po Grenoble, and the French Research Centre on Iraq. High-ranking political officials and political science experts from inside and outside the country attended the forum, many speeches were given and the Kurdish Question was discussed in the region.
Rebar Ahmad, the candidate for President of the Republic of Iraq, and who is the Interior Minister in KRG, also participated in the forum.
The forum began with a speech by Soran University president, AP.Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas. French writer and philosopher Bernard Levy then gave a speech.
His Excellency Masrour Barzani, PM of KRG delivered a speech, highlighting the status and importance of the Kurdistan region in the Middle East.
The first panel discussion of the forum began, with the participation of researchers Dr. Adil Bakhawan and Dr. Philip Destatti, managed by Anna Marieuz. The second panel was moderated by Tanya Khailani in which researchers Dr. Ibrahim Malazada and Dr. Daniel Mauer. The third panel was attended by researchers Dr. Azzam Amin and Dr. Jeanne Marco.
The last panel discussion was a speech by Mr. Rebar Ahmad, in which he outlined his vision for the president of the republic post and the administration of Iraq.
