Soran University began the First annual Oil and Gas Symposium 

Today (April 21, 2014), with the presence of a number of local and international academicians, Soran University began the First Annual Oil and Gas Symposium. The Symposium is held for two days.

The Vice President of Soran University, Dr. Hawre Mansurbag, claims that many significant issues about the Kurdistan Oil and Gas will be discussed during the symposium. Regarding the happening of the conference, the Vice President stated that Soran University's aim is not only to introduce people to the issue of oil and gas, but also to discuss the prospects that oil and gas industries face.

During this symposium, which goes on for two days, each of the students from departments of Petroleum Engineering, petroleum Geosciences and Geography will be present. Throughout this academic symposium, the strategic layouts of Kurdistan location, political and geographical accuracies and the issue of Kurdistan Regional Government with Turkey on gas and oil will be discussed.

In another part of the Symposium, debates will be held on the way of better maintaining the organizations related to the natural resources and future basis of this country.
