The Faculty of Education started in 2008-2009 with only two scientific departments under the title of College of Construction Education. It now consists of two schools of physical education and primary education, the first of which includes the department of physical education and the other of Kurdish, English, mathematics, general sciences and social sciences. Evening classes are also available in the departments of (Sports, Kurdish, English and Social Sciences).
Regarding higher education, the Faculty of Education offers master's and doctoral studies in three departments (Kurdish, General Sciences and Sports).
There are a significant number of experienced and skilled teachers in the fields of research and teaching in the faculty, which is full of scientific knowledge.
Like all other faculties, following the Bologna Process, it has focused all its objectives on training experts with various skills such as critical thinking, problem solving ability and sound decision-making, so that its graduates can fit well in the competitive labor market.
