On Sunday, September 11, 2021, a delegation from Soran University, led by Dr. Sherwan Sharif, president of Soran University and Dr. Sirwan Jabar Amin, Vice President of the university for scientific affairs, and Dr. Rizgar Saeed, Vice president of the university for student affairs, participated in a conference concerning the September Revolution in Duhok University.

The conference, which was entitled "Aylul Revolution”, is considered as a great turning point in the Kurdish political history and was held on the 60^th  anniversary of the revolution.
