Soran University the Only Government Funded University to Attend the Kurdistan Careers Fair

On Wednesday, the 26th, November 2014, with the attendance of many local and foreign companies, from both the private and public sectors, the two day Kurdistan Careers Fair was opened by Mr Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region.

This fair, which is held annually in order to offer job and recruitment opportunities, has particular importance for the Kurdish economic development which is the reason that it is supported and appreciated by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

The companies and institutions attending the fair have a role in presenting job opportunities to individuals as well as recruitment opportunities for employers and educational institutions. It also provides opportunities for networking with other companies, institutions and governmental departments.

Due to its continuing development, Soran University, as one of these institutions, needs expertise in many fields as it has a great number of important and strategic projects in the study of quality and scientific infrastructure; it is now being noticed by other institutions and companies who see Soran University as an institution that has an active role in creating job opportunities and developing expertise in its students.

This is for this reason that Soran University attended the fair with an active team; it was the only government funded university to do so. The team from Soran University were able to attract many companies to the advantages of recruiting Soran University experts and graduates and also, according to the information from our website, a large number of people who had attended the fair have presented their curriculum vitae (CVs) for consideration by Soran University.
