On the 20th May 2015 - in the presence of Dr Muslih Mustafa, President of Soran University, Dr Rushdie S. Othman, Vice President of Soran University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr Yadgar Rasul, Vice President of Soran University, and a large number of academics, lecturers, and students - Soran University’s Faculty of Education held its annual conference.
The conference began with a five-minute stand-up in honor of the pure souls of the Kurdish martyrs. The first talk was delivered by Dr Hiwa Balisany, Dean of the Faculty of Education. He welcomed the attendees, expressed his happiness for the continuity of the conference, and referred to the students’ capacity and skills in making more achievements. He asserted that one of the presented researches will be published in one of the internationally recognized journals.
Following Dr Balisany’s speech was Dr Muslih Mustafa’s speech. He first expressed his gratefulness and happiness for the annual habit of the Faculty of Education. He thanked the Dean and all the staff of the Faculty. Mr President acknowledged that this annual conference of the Faculty of Education inspired them to decide on holding an annual conference for students of the Soran University from all levels, and he also declared that on the 27th and 28th May 2015 the first conference of this type will be held. At the end of his speech, Mr President declared the support the Presidency of Soran University for the lecturers and students, and wished success for them.
Nine researches on general science, Kurdish studies, and sport were presented, and then the best ones were chosen.
