On Sunday, November 13, 2022, Prof.Dr. Alan Dilani visited Soran University. He was warmly welcomed by Soran University President AP.Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, and Dr. Jamal Kak Rasul, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Later, he presented a seminar on dr. Farsat Sofi’s Hall, entitled: Salutogenic as a Solution to Building a Healthy Society.

On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, a master’s thesis in the School of Sports at the Faculty of Education - Soran University was discussed. Lana Arif Karim’s master’s thesis was entitled: Building complex tests (physical-skill) for the most important badminton skills for players aged (14-16).

AP.Dr. Haval Mohamed Saleh, a teacher in the Department of Mathematics, published a joint research with Rezhna Mustafa Hussein, a master’s student in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science- Soran University, entitled: Genus Zero of Projective Symplastic Groups.

A lecturer of Soran University took part in an international forum held at the European Parliament. The Forum was one of many series of the World Forum for Democracy.

Hassan Mustafa, a lecturer at the Law Department of Soran University, participated in the Tenth World Democracy Forum, entitled: Democracy: A New Hope.  The conference was held from 7 to 9 November 2022 in the European Parliament. It focused on the process of democratic governance in Europe and the world, especially after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the financial and economic crises.
