A Lecturer of the Faculty of Arts  got a PhD degree in the field of history



After receiving an international scholarship at the University of Sakaria in Turkey and fulfilling all the requirements of higher education successfully, the lecturer in the History Department-Faculty of Arts, Fakhir Ali Ababaker, got PhD degree.

 Mr. Fakhir's PhD thesis was entitled "The National Movements of the Ottoman Empire: The States of Mosul, Baghdad and Basra as Example, 1908-1918". After the discussion by the jury committee, the thesis was accepted as it was, and the committee decided to award a PhD degree to the candidate.

Finally, it is worth to say that among hundreds of applicants, Mr. Fakhir was granted the Sakaria University's  scholarship.
