On Saturday, 06/03/2021, at the presence of the jury committee, the master thesis by the candidate, Jahida Nuruddin Yusuf, was examined in the field of English literature in English Department. The thesis was entitled “The conceptualization of Immigration in Jhumpa Lahir's Interpreter of Maladies and the Namesake: A Cognitive Approach”.
The jury committee consisted of the following:
1- Assist. Prof. Dr. Saman Hussein Omar, Salahaddin University, head of the committee.
2- Dr. Hawzhin Rashaddin Ahmed, Soran University, member.
3- Dr. Mahmood Nawzad Hassan, Salahaddin University, member.
4- Assist. Prof. Dr. Yasser Allawi Abid, Koya University, supervisor and member.
It is worth to mention that after an intensive scientific discussion and defence from the student of the arguments of her master's thesis, the committee decided to award the master's degree to the candidate.
